That’s right, I gave up my practice.

I stopped doing meditation.

“But kyle? Considering you are a junior lifestyle guru in training (lol), I would expect you to be all about mediation?”

“How could you stop meditating? Isn’t super good for you? Everyone knows the benefits!”

Look.

I’ve been meditating for a while, but I was on and off for years.

Maybe you can relate?

Until one day I said, I’m going to deepen my practice.

And thus I set a target to meditate 20 minutes a day or more for 100 days in a row (ended up going longer).

I did this to ensure that I made a real lifestyle change, and it became who I was, not something I do.

But something happened that I couldn’t have predicted that led me to let go of my practice.

I know this might seem controversial…

But I think this is something most people might ignore when they’re getting into meditation.
